Brilliant Neon Ltd is very proud to announce its recent collaboration with Linda Scott, The Bubble Writer, a London based Designer and author of multiple activity books for children and teenagers.
The collaboration is a natural and successful partnership between this South East London start-up company and a local illustrator obsessed with words and typography. Linda's hand drawn images are instantly recognisable as nostalgic nods to 70's peace and love, school exercise book graffiti, flower power, 60's Californian surf culture and political posters and will strike a chord with anyone with a taste for super-cool typography. Linda takes her inspiration from anything printed such as old record sleeves, book jackets, posters and stickers and is, herself, a huge collector of retro typographic paraphernalia.
For this first collaboration collection we have chosen 4 of her fabulous statements and transformed them into large neon works of art. These pieces are sure to bring light and joy to any home, office, public house or eaterie.
Judging by her instagram account, Linda is as excited as Brilliant Neon are about this new collaboration: "I'm very very excited to be working with such a super cool neon company."
We will be launching this amazing debut collection at The Midcentury Modern Show at Dulwich College on Sunday 19th Match, hope to see you there!
